Built for first-timers
Level 1 is the front door. 60 minutes of drilling, resistance drilling, and constraints-led games — designed so you walk in knowing nothing and walk out with structure.
Train hard, stay humble.
No experience required. Level 1 classes are built for total beginners — 60 minutes of approachable drilling and light sparring, run multiple times a week so you can find a slot that fits your schedule.
Who It’s For
You don’t need to be in shape, flexible, or fearless. You just need to show up. Level 1 is built around the assumption that this is your first time on a Jiu-Jitsu mat — and we coach accordingly.
What You’ll Learn
How to fall safely. How to move with structure. The fundamental positions, transitions, and submissions of No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu — taught with patience by coaches who’ve been the new person before.
Level 1 is the front door. 60 minutes of drilling, resistance drilling, and constraints-led games — designed so you walk in knowing nothing and walk out with structure.
Each class includes 10–15 minutes of supervised sparring. Coaches pair you with the right training partners. You learn by doing — not by watching.
We've all been the new person. The room is built for that — no posturing, no being thrown to the wolves. Patient coaching from PJ, Dawna, Allen, Joey, and the team.
When you're ready, Level 2 (intermediate) is waiting — and Mixed Levels classes let you train alongside Level 1 and Level 2 students together. You always know what's next.
